For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Lukas 2:11)

How blessed are we that God sent his only begotten Son to the world to die for our sins. We celebrate his birth this December and well I'm so very grateful for Christ. I'm so glad that Christ accepted to come into this world to redeem us from our sins and make it possible to be able to live with Him.

I love my Savior so very much and i know that its through Him that i can live again. He is my best friend and i love Him so much. I may be far from my family and friends but i am so glad that i'm right here helping His people. I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else in the world. Its the least i can do for me Savior.

Enjoy your christmas! I love you all!😀😀

Ok so everything is good!  We have been able to work normally this past week. Everything has calmed down and we are back to normal working. All is well! Hope you guys didn't worry too much.

Well everyone I hope you are all enjoying your December! This time of the year is always my favorite time! As a missionary as well its so great because everyone is ready to serve and help others come unto Christ. Right now all the members of the church here are going to have a family home evening where the are going to invite a non member to come to their house and share the video # ilumine el mundo. Its a short video about Christmas and we have been busy helping the members put dates so that we can be there with them when they have their family home evenings. We have a busy December ahead of us and we are excited.

Remember Family and friends to help other this Christmas. There are people that aren't as fortunate as us and we need to help these people feel the love of Christ this Christmas. Look for people to serve this December!

Remember that we celebrate Christmas for Christ so look for ways to help others. We all know that We show our love for our savior when we serve His children. Lets all make everyone this Christmas. feel Christ's love!

Love you all so much! And Happy holidays!

Ok. Just so you guys know you should have been informed but we have been in a lockdown for 4 days. I don't want you guys to worry but I'm telling you because I don't want you to receive the message and then freak out. Today is the first day we have left the house. We will go back to the tonight at 3 pm and stay in the house until the next day.

Right now in Honduras they had elections for a new presidente. The thing is that the presidente right now made a law that he could run another 4 more years even when his time was up. Their presidente doesn't want to give the power away because if he does he will have to go to jail. Everyone in Honduras is trying everything to take him out but we will see how it goes.

For safety we have been in the house. The members are helping us out a ton. We have plenty of food water and so please don't worry. Everything is calming down and that's why we have left today.

We are super safe. And remember that God will protect us missionaries. I feel super safe and everything is getting better. Love you have a good week.

Well my time has come to an end here I'm Germania! I know i say this every time but I'm sure going to miss the people in this area. I have met so many people here that have really helped my testimony grow and i will never forget any of them. It is going to be hard saying goodbye to everyone of them. Germania really just been a super special area for me.

Well my new companion is from mexico and his name is Elder Vazquez! He will be training me this next exchange as zone leader. I'm super excited and well will see what god has in store for me this next exchange. I will be going to and area that called the la Peña. Haven't heard to much about the area but i let you all know how its going next week.

Well have a great week everyone!

Family and friends hope all is going great over there! 😀

Well We are on the last week before exchanges and I'm hoping to be able to stay here through the holidays with Elder Muralles. I have really became super close to the people in this area and as always i am not  looking forward to the goodbye. We well see though. I'm hoping me and my companion can stay together one more exchange in this area but whatever happens will be perfect.

This past week we had a super cool experience while contacting. Wednesday we where contacting most of the day in an area that's called the la manuel. We had touched literally almost every door because its a subdivision super small. We had an appointment at like 7:30pm and when we went there nobody was home so my companion ask well where do you want to go. And i thought of this one house that we had contacted earlier in the day and thought they might be home. Turns out we went and sure enough about a 35 year old man answers the door and didn't even give us a chance to talk just says come on in. Turns out just last year he lost his family because of his drinking addiction. He was super thrilled to here the message we had and is one of our positive investigators who is progressing. I don't know why that was the house that popped up in my mind but i know that God just loves his children so much and always looks for ways to help them. I know this man needs some help and i know we have the help he needs to make it through this trial. We will see how it goes.

Love you all! have good week!

Monday, November 13, 2017

Alright everyone! This week has been a good one! We have been contacting like crazy people to try to find more people. Honestly its has been a very tiring week. We were contacting and contacting and not finding people with potential. I found a scripture during personal study that really helped me and when we put it in practice it really came true. The scripture is
Helman 3: 35

Nevertheless they did fast and pray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yea, even to the purifying and the sanctification of their hearts, which sanctification cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God.

So we decided to fast to find people. In Honduras it is super hot and especially for me it is difficult to fast because of the sun and humidity but we did it and i kid you not we finished the fast and contacted and found some that has a ton of potential. The scripture is so lit! After this experience clearly my testimony grew and i felt that once again my faith grew in Christ and i waxed stronger in my humility.

You know sometimes we all want to have a firmer testimony and this is 2 things essential to gain a testimony of this gospel. As i have done these things i have felt a firmer and firmer faith in Christ. After this experience i have felt again of my Savior's love for me and his loving, helping hand that he always has extended.

Love you all!

Well this week was a good one as always. We were able to have baptism this past week. IN the mission sometimes you feel like there are people that were prepared for you in specific and i feel like i came to this mission to help Stefany. This area has truly been such a neat area for me. I'm getting very attached to the people here. The members are great and the people that have accepted the gospel in this area are just growing immensely in the gospel. It truly has strengthened my testimony to see the people's lives before and after they accept the gospel.

Right now we are in the process of helping a few less active members as well get back to church. IN this area especially we have focused in on less active members and it was so great to see that all of them went to church this past Sunday. We actually had 6 less active member go to church with us and wow it made my heart so happy. We hope and pray always that these people can come back and stay. We will see what happens though.

Thats all for this week!

This past week has been great! I have a new companion and he from Guatemala. He is super cool kid we are getting along great. It was rough to start of the week saying goodbye to my old companion. I really just look at him as family to me. Thayne and I finished our last day together with a family home evening with members and investigators.

Well this past week i was able to give a talk in sacrament meeting. The bishop asked me to speak on the importance of scripture study. I would just like to challenge you all to put time to read your scriptures. Its something so simple that helps us to strengthen our testimonies so much. we all have hobbies and i would like to challenge you all to take 10 minutes out of something that you do often to read the scriptures. For example if you watch the TV for an hour take 10 minutes out of that time and read the scriptures.  watch TV for 50 and the other 10 give your time to the lord and read. I just want to say that small simple things are what bring blessing to our lives. As we read, pray, and go to church we are able to find happiness. We don't need a big house our the iPhone 8. We need our testimonies strengthened. We can't do that as we study the scriptures.

I know this to be true because i have seen my testimony grow so much and i know its because I'm taking the time to read and really ponder the scriptures.

I have had a tone of people ask me about what we did with the logs that we hauled up a mountain so here are the pics. THAT IS A PIG/CHICKEN PEN

Love you all

This week Was a good one for Elder Thayne and me. We really made some memories that we will never forget. We where able to baptize 3 children of God this past week and it was just so great. We Baptized them after we watched conference. Funny story is that we actually were filling up the baptismal font while conference was going on. Elder Thayne and i were just like "we'll remember" but well we got a little distracted with all the good talks that were going on and the font overflowed . It was crazy. hahaha good thing all the churches here have tile.

I hope all of you where able to get to hear conference. It is such a blessing that we have prophets that live today and guide their church. I hope we can all take their advice to heart and work on being better disciples of our Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ.

We watched it in English so that was cool. Here was our conference room. It was the best. We had air conditioning. It was a first for a very long time. hahah but love you all  have a good week.

Well everyone it was a good birthday. There are some members here that i just absolutely love here and we had a family home evening and invited a ton of our investigators. it was so great i will send pics.

I can't remember if i sent this pics but elder Thayne and i a few week ago where proving service for this investigator and so we ended up carrying like 10 logs out of a huge canyon. It was some hard work and wow where we tired these logs weighed so much and we had to carry them up a huge steep hill. The guy made a pig pen out of the posts so ill see if i can take some pics of the final  results.

have a great week

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES.

This week has been so great. We were able to find some great people this past week and i just felt like i just got presents all week long. We had 14 people at church and like 5 of those people were found Saturday. It was so great to have so many  people there learning more about the gospel.

Also we have an investigator whose name is Nay! He has inspired me to be a better person and has honestly strengthened my testimony so much. This guy was someone who drank and smoked and did some things he shouldn't have done but he has changed so much. As i have seen him change it just -wow - has been something that words just can't describe

He never accepted a date to be baptized but we were able to put a date with him for the 30 of September this past week. We felt like the moment was right and we challenged him and he said yes. I have never seen someone change as much as nay has and i will always be grateful for him. He is a great guy and is changing into a person completely different.

Well - don't have too much time but i'll throw some pics in of this past week.

It has rained this past week a ton so the pic that has the huge jackets was what the members let us borrow so we didn't get wet.

Love you all

Ok well everybody here are the updates. I had exchanges and left my old area! When we got the exchanges they had an error so I will not be my dads last companion. I now have new a companion from Utah! He is from Lehi, Utah and this week has just been a blast. We are in an area that we walk and walk and walk but by the end of this exchange I think we will both have calves the size of footballs. We are working hard and Elder Thayne is great missionary! We have a ton of work to do in this area but we are excited for the challenge. On Sundays we go to church 2 times because we are starting a group on a mountain. We had about 20 people that went to church and we are hoping to grow this small group so we can actually build a wood house or something. Right now we just have a small tarp to keep the rain and sun off of us.

The past sacrament meeting was honestly the most spiritually sacrament meeting that I have had on the mission. It started to thunder and rain but when it came down to the sacrament and the talks it just stopped. I could feel the spirit so strong even though it was like so different then what I'm used to.  IT was so incredible to feel the joy of the people to have a church that's closer to there house.

Like i said we have lots of work to do in this area. This exchange though will be unforgettable i just already know it.

 Love you all
