Hey everyone so we had another baptism! My companion ended up baptising alexis that lives 1 and a half away from the church. So the day of the baptism we went to set things up a little early. Well when i looked in the font i thought it needed more water so i hit the lever. Well then i thought i want lot of people to be at the baptism becasue we had the baptism at 1'0 in the morning saturday and people where working and stuff. So we 'passed by members houses to see if the kids where in the house. Well we ended up getting a tone of people at the baptism but when returned the church was flooded. Good new is the churches are so different here. They are set up so that when cleaning you can dump tones of water on the floor and not ruin the walls. I was preatty emabarressed the guy we ended up baptising helped mop the church before the baptism. But the baptism was great and i will never forget alexis and his example of doing whatever it takes to go to church.

Love you all,

Hey everyone so my companion and I had our first baptism together this Saturday. It was an amazing experience and I felt the spirit so strong during the baptism. It was a true privilege to baptize nelson and is by far one of the best experiences of my life. To see the pure joy that nelson had was so great and I will never forget the baptism of him. 😁

My companion and I yesterday had quite the adventure. We have a investigator that has been coming to church for 3 weeks now and we finally found out where he lives yesterday. He was always saying I live a long ways away and my companion and I thought that he might be exaggerating a little. So after church we went with him. And wow where we surprised. We first took a bus for 30 minutes and then after that jumped in a motor taxi for another 30 minutes and then we walked another 40 minutes up and down mountains to get to his house.  Alexisis has been coming to church and spending 60 limperas every time to come to church. His house is about the size of my room and is made of mud and sticks and dirt for floors. I don't know how he is getting the money to come to church but what an example for all. He hardly has money but knows how important church is. We all need to have the attitude like Alexisis and do whatever it takes to go to church. We have it so easy in the states and sometimes we make excuses for reasons why we can't go to church. Knowing the situation of Alexisis I think we all can jump in our cars for 5 minutes to go to church and have a good attitude like Alexisis. 😀

Have a good week everyone!😁

Hey everyone! I'm doing great! We are writing super late today because we had a reunion and also we played soccer with some of our investigators today. It was a blast! My companion that i have now has been my favorite companion so far we have had a blast and also are having tons of success! Like I said last week the members didn't have trust in the missionaries because of the pass missionaries that were in the area before us. For 2 weeks we only had 30 people assisting all the iglesia. We had a meeting with our mission leader and we decided that this week we're going to change that. We left with tons of members to visit people this week and gained trust of the members and also we had 87 personas in the church this week. The ward as starting to pitch in with the work and we are definitely seeing the difference. We brought 9 investigators and 1 family of 4 to the church this sunday. We are preparing them for baptism and the only problem is they are not married. this family is super special to me and we are doing everything we can to try to help them get married. They are super poor but are so giving also. Always are giving food and drinks. Also we are preparing my man nelson for baptism this saturday! He is 8 years old and has been assisting the church like crazy with us! I will send pics this next week of him! He asked if i would baptise him and i am so honored to do so. He is such a special spirit and i just love him to death. We will see how it goes!😁

I've got a story for all of guys and you all are going to enjoy this. So we had a reunion 2 days ago and we got on a bus and it was super later. There weren't 2 seats together for my companion and i to sit together so we sat separately. I sat by this kid who has 20 years of age and he was so tired he ended up putting his head and sleeping on my shoulder. I thought to myself if i was in the states i totally would of been like dude wake up what you doing. But i dont know i just didn't feel like waking him up. I just love the people here and would do anything for them. If that means letting this dude sleep on me for 1 hour that fine with me. But my companion was laughing his head off. Well i was like im going to take picture and my companion was freaking out. saying dont do it man dont do. It was dark so i hit the flash button and starting taking pictures my companion freaking out the whole time and the whole bus was just balling laughing the entire time. He didn't end up waking up or anything. And when he did wake up. I showed him the pictures and he just i'm so sorry and just couldn't believe that he had done that. I ended up contacting this kid but he doesn't live in my area but i sent the reference to the missionaries en the other area. We'll see what happens. Hope all of you have a good week and enjoy the pics.😁😂

Ok so I'm training again! My new companions name is Elder Zapata. He is from Chile and wow does he talk fast. I'm excited to be with him and this week has been awesome. He is a great missionary and we are going to have no troubles getting along. Right now we are working hard in our area and especially gaining the trust of the members. There has been a few missionaries in the past in this area that were not the best example and some things happened but we are gaining their trust little by little. Hope all is well! Love you all
