It rained on us super hard this past week. My companion and I where super far from our house and we forgot our umbrellas. We where soaked! But the awesome thing was that we just kept knocking on doors and talking to people. It's a ton easier to get into people homes and teach when the weather is bad. We have such good luck in the rain even though its so uncomfortable, it's worth it cause the families are together more often than not. Thanks so much for everything love you tons

Independence day here on was September 14 and 15 huge parades where going on. It was crazy the parties here are huge! nothing like the states. These parades last all day almost. got to go love you all.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! This week has been awesome here. We Baptized a guy named Ronald. He is a friend of a member in our church. We have been teaching him for a while and he was having a hard time knowing if this was the true church for him. We always taught him at the church so one time after we gave a lesson we asked him to pray to know the truthfulness of the book of Mormon and if his decision to be baptized on the 15 of September was the right decision. We gave him 10 min to pray and think. When we entered the room after I could say he had received an answer. He didn't even have to say anything and I could feel that he knew our message was true. That's been the highlight of my week. Also the first person we baptized, Rory, came and taught lessons to investigators this week. That was also such a great feeling and so cool to see Rory's testimony shared with investigators. This week has also been a interesting week with food! I have tasted cow intestines, cow feet, and cow liver. I did not like any of it. In Honduras its extremely rude to not eat food because the people here are poor so I had to eat it. The cow intestines I ate most of it but there was a few pieces I had to throw out the window when she was looking. Those foods are common so I'm going to have to get use to it. Anyways loving my time here and I don't really want to leave my area. I went on exchanges this week to Tegucable. It was way too hot and the people weren't as nice as they are in my area. I love you all!

Things are awesome in honduras. The language is still super hard but i know that i'm learning. In the ccm my companion wrote me a letter in spanish i knew nothing what it said in the ccm. I found that same letter yesterday and understand everything. I can understand reading better but people talking is hard to follow. Yeah the baptism was awesome. We are having another baptism this wednesday. Im super excited. His name is ronald. He had a hard time receiving an answer to now if it our message was true and if the book of mormon was true. In the church after our lesson we asked him to pray to know. We left for 10 min and when we entered the room i could see in his eyes that he had received an answer. It was so exciting.

There is this one family where teaching and they have 2 little girls. They always are taking pictures of me and cant stop looking at me. Also in honduras it is normal for the ladies to give people a kiss on the cheek after the first time they meet you. We had this one lady and she was trying to hug me and give me a kiss on the cheek but i had to hold her back. She was offened but ounce we explained why she understood. I love you all! have an awesome week
