Hey family! Just wanted all of you to know that i love you guys and miss the presence of you guys as Christmas is coming closer. This week has been incredible. One of our investigators which the missionaries have been visiting for over a year now was baptized this saturday. It all happened so fast we had taught him all the main lessons this past 2 weeks. We decided that monday we were going to challenge him for baptism. Cesar excepted the invitation to be baptised and because he knows so much already we baptised this saturday and now he is a EFY. My companion and i are looking forward to seeing how his experience goes at EFY.

Also this week my companion and i brought a recent convert to the temple. Sofia only has 14 so she did baptisms for the dead and my companion and we went through the temple. It was my first time and it was my companions last time going through because he is going home this next week.

Happy holiday! Love you all!

Well I have had a busy week again. I switched companion again and areas. I am now in Talanga. Its a very small little place with nothing to eat. The members dont have a lot of money so they cant help to much. This whole week i've been eating eggs, bean, and rice. I'm a little hungry but i'm going to get some food at the market because its p day. My new companion goes home in 2 weeks. ITs a little difficult cause he doesn't want to work super hard just because hes thinking about home. But he is doing lots better with me. The zone leaders said they where very impressed because he usually does nothing. Yeah we have found lots of people this week for baptism. This area is a lot more accepting then my last area. I'm looking forward to seeing your cute face and talking with you for christmas. Love you lots.

in one of the picture with the family they are members. They are holding a poster that has a video called # ilmuminaelmundo en lds.org. I love this video. I hope all of you look for ways to help others this christmas season. love you all

The time is going by very fast. I switched areas again. And now I'm in Talanga as the new district leader.  Wikipedia says...
Talanga is a municipality in the Honduran department of Francisco Morazán.
It lies on the highway connecting Tegucigalpa with the department of Olancho. Talanga is a medium-sized municipality relying heavily on agriculture. Its most important crops include corn, sugar cane and livestock fodder.
Perhaps the most notable feature of Talanga is that the streets are all dirt. In most towns of its size in Honduras, the primary streets are paved. The town is just finishing installing a sewer system (as of 2006) and paving is an upcoming project. For now, the town is the epitome of "wild, wild west," with ox carts, cowboys on horseback, stray dogs, untended livestock, and minimal law enforcement. Talanga has a very good indoor market with produce, meat, pots and pans, and other household goods. There are about seven well-stocked hardware stores, as well as two internet cafes. The town square was recently built with concrete fixtures and a basketball court. There is a hill with a cross near the town center with an excellent view of the town and surrounding area. The people of Talanga are very friendly and one would be hardpressed to walk the main street without having people say "buenas" and starting conversations.

My Ward mission leader in the ward knows Kevin Meek because they served in the same mission. How cool is that! You'll have to let them know and then get back to me. I'll take a picture with him this week so you can send it to them. My mission leader said that my Spanish is actually the same as other missionaries when they have been out 15 months. So, that made me very happy. I'm doing great in my new area and love my mission so much. We have new investigators that are super positive and I'm very excited. love you tons.

I ended up getting a new companion last week. Well, not really a new companion. I got my first companion back again but in a new area. There are a ton more people to teach that are excited about our message. We have 4 people that have accepted a baptismal date and we only have been together for 6 days. I had one crazy story that I'll tell you now that it's over because you're not going to worry. This week I got stung by a scorpion. It hurt so bad! I got off a bus and walked a little and then felt a sharp pain. It was like 10 times worse than a bee sting. I went to the doctor, got medicine, and I'm doing good so don't worry at all.

It's been a crazy week! I'm super excited about my new area and the work we are doing!

I love you all.  Have a great week!

Love

Hey everyone! Just want you guys to know how much I love you and am thankful for all of you! I hope you guys have an amazing turkey day and eat lots of turkey! I received a new companion and he is from El Salvador his name is Elder Montoya. He is a recent convert and just completed 1 year being a member in the mtc. His family is catholic and once he became a member stopped talking to him. They didn't even say bye to him when he left. I'm helping him learn the doctrine and stuff cause he doesn't know everything due to the short time. What an example he is to me for making that decision. I am so thankful that i have family that loves and supports me in every decision i make. Love you all and have a Happy THANKSGIVING!
