Alright everyone this week has been a good one as usual.
Had an amazing week and made it through my first semana santa. It actually
wasn't as hot as everyone said it was going to be but everyone said it was a
weird year. Here in Honduras they celebrate Easter for a whole week! They
people here if they have a television are watching videos of Christ and it was
very interesting just because it was super different than what I'm used too.
Saturday and Sunday there was tones of people walking with candles in the street
and then after they had a huge fire in the middle of the streets. They do this
to remember the sacrifice that our savior did for all of us. I love my savior
so much and I'm so grateful for his atoning sacrifice for the world. He did this
because he loves us so much and wants us to be happy and have the opportunity
to live with him after this life. It was nice to be able to see how the people
here showed their love for our the savior this week. Hope your Easter was
fantastic and just know i love you all!😀
