Hey everyone this week has been
amazing! All the missionaries in this mission had the opportunity to hear from
Dallin H Oaks. It was awesome hearing words from an apostle that were directed
at you personally. He said something very interesting that can be applied to
not only missionaries but everyone in life. He said when there is something you
want to do be cautious and think is this what the lord wants me to do. He also
said when there is something you dont want to do its probably what the lord
wants you to do so do it! In life we have these types of situations all the
time. I think that when we do the hard things that we dont really want we come
out a stronger person. This week i challenge all of you guys to do something
that you might not want to do but you do it because its better for you. Whether
that be providing service for others instead of going to dinner i dont know.
Anyways that advice is awesome and i always think of this statement whenever
i'm wondering what i should do.
Also this week one of our
investigators asked if I would baptized him personally. His name is kevin! He
is always helping me with spanish and he just could kid. He is 21 years old. He
going in for a interview with president so i'm hoping everything goes good! I'll
be baptizing him the 11 of november if everything goes as planned. I'm so
excited that i get this opportunity.
Thanks for everything fam love hearing from you all! Have a
good week.

Hey everyone I'm doing Awesome! Its pretty crazy how fast
the time flies! I've got 3 more weeks of training and then I'm finished. I probably
will stay in the same area for my next transfer! I could be training a new
missionary but don't know for sure yet. This week has been awesome! We found a
gringo family in our area and they are learning Spanish as we speak also. Its
been nice because I have been I able to share everything that I feel in
English. Sometimes I don't have all the words in Spanish yet to be able to express
everything. They are from Georgia and the wife only believe in the bible. The
husband is super positive and I'm hoping he is going to progress. He has read 20
ch of the book of Mormon and we just found him this week. Also we found a super
positive investigator. We have been teaching her with a member in our ward and I
think she is going to be baptized with some time. This week we had provided
service for the community. They didn't have one tractor and I was using a sledge
hammer not sure what is called to break up the earth. It was brutal! Kids
younger then me where helping and its there job to make money. I was so sore
after and cant believe that they do that everyday. I was really was wishing
that Dell was close by so I could use his tractor. Last night my companion
turned the water on outside of the house. The water ran all night long and so
when we woke all the water is gone. We don't know how long it will take for the
water to refill but right now we are showering with water that we buy from the
store. I'm hoping the water comes back soon but will see. Hope everyone is doing
awesome, love you guys!

I'm doing good! I was really sick for 2 days this week. One of the days I
didn't work but the other I worked. Today has been a good day. We visited a
members house today that has a 92 year old grandma in the house that was doing
terrible today. She couldn't breathe very good. It was really sad to see her in
that condition because just the week before she was totally fine. We gave her a
priesthood blessing and asked Heavenly Father to help her pass quickly because
she is suffering alot. The hym we sung was God be with you until we meet again
dont remeber the title in english but thats the hym. I've never felt the spirit
so strong in my life. It was a great experience and after the blessing about 2
hours later they called us and said she had passed and thanked us for giving a
blessing because she had been suffering for 2 days. Couldn't eat or drink or
shut her eyes. It just goes to show how powerful priesthood blessing are.

I'm settling in more each week! The language is
coming alright! Definitely getting better everyday. We have in our house
another set of missionaries who are our district leaders. WE switched
companions but since I'm a junior companion i have one more month before I
could switch areas. They have been a blessing! Every night for 1 and half hours
they sit down and practice the lessons with me. They are helping me out so
much! Ill never be able to repay them for what they are doing for me. They're wasting
their time every night this whole entire time until we move areas. There names
are elder Ang and elder Rojas. Elder Ang is from california and elder rojas is
from costa rica. I'm glad that i have the opportunity to learn Spanish. we
buy groceries and sometimes the people in the ward wash our clothes but once a
week. So sometimes i just wash them by hand. i dont iron my shirts or pants. I just hang them up after
being washed and they end not having wrinkles. I'm glad you bought the nice
pairs of shirts! yeah I cant fit in the 2 pairs of pants. I'm trying to find
some one here to extend them but there isn't a store so i have to find a member
and so i'm not sure if they will know how.
